Hi guys,

Been reading the thread and using the kit, works very well. Buggy is well on the pace. Will look to use the FDR info in the truck (0.86), using traditional spurs.

My question is..... What is the FDR to use for 4wd, in partical the b44. What allowance do you make for running the two diffsin 4wd?, i.e. you use .86 to convert a buggy ratio to truck, how about a 4wd?

I didn't see your post...sorry about that.

The ratios would be the same as for a buggy, since a 4wd uses the same tires. The driving style may be a little different, since a 4wd with a 17.5 should be pretty hooked up, so you may have to go up or down a bit based on how hot the motor gets.

I would start at 5.1-5.2 and see how the motor likes it.

I just ran at the Region8 race with a Speedpassion 17.5 in my B4.

33/66

I think I could have geared up but just stopped at 33. It ran great....

The bearing was one I had laying around in my box for a B4. It fits the center of the spur and the input shaft on the RB-5 PERFECT. The slipper action is smooth and very tunable, so you still have some traction control for slick track conditions. I am sure that if you find the right size bearing the same could be done on a B4 , or losi buggy or truck.
Thanks for the info.
