I got a chance to run my RB5 for the first time this weekend at out State Series race, and wow! Im impressed, as was anyone who took the wheel. Double Dees for the rears, and even after the equivilent of 4 races(5 different guys wanted to run the car at various times, haha), the car still let the front wheels get light under power. If the popularity of the car picks up, you never know.

We need to get the current line of stuff "out there", so thats what we're concentrating on. There was a limited release at our local race, so I'll have some pics in the next few days of customers with the tires/wheels. I must say, the spoked wheels look completely dialed.

About a month out (for real this time, haha). We should have everything available comfortably before the JConcepts Clash. Losi wheels...Im not too sure of, we need to get our current line out first.

Well get that stuff out, and then get some new stuff made like a shell for the RB5 (I think it would look better for someone who works for JC to have a JC shell)

Anyone have a link or a setup for a bj4 we for an indoor medium bite track?Medium sized jumps.Tire that are popular are clay losi tapers or Panther switches in clay compound.Any setup help is appreciated.

I don't have a whole setup sheet, but here are the basics, everything not mentioned is standard as with all the BJ4 setups, like steering rack location ect..

Front - Silver w/35, 2s, -.060" limiting, 3 ball stud washers inside, 1 on castor block, 1 spindles, 3 steering rack, shock mounted 1-b, ride height 20mm

Rear - Green w/25 or 30, 1s, .030", 1 ball stud washer, JC ball cups;), hubs middle, 2* anit squat, sway bar (try w/o), and 19mm ride height.

Other, JC 6" HD BJ4 WE Wing, and tires are everything at a track like what you describe, be sure to see what the local 'hot shoe' is running.

Any chance that you guys will release a BJ4WE-specific undertray? The one for the standard car doesn't even come close to fitting the saddlepack chassis.

And on that note, I've got a new, uncut tray for sale....$10 shipped :)

I sent you a pm on that undertay...I'll take it!

SMcpot 10-15-2007 10:49 AM

Sent you a reply, Terry.

And thanks for the part number, Steve.

wow now that was a fun kit to build everything was very self explanatory. Is the undertray recomended higher than the 3m chassis tape.If so are the b44 trays available?

I would say that most people just run the chassis tape unless the track surface is wet/loamy.

Our latest release, the Illuzion Tango for the REVO 3.3! We will also be releasing a wing mount in the near future, for use with our wing!
