I'm thinking the end of the year. The wings are done (precut too ) and we are scheduled to test the final molded parts within the next week or two. Once the molded parts are cleared, then they can go with production.

Are the black jackets for 1/8 buggy and truggy being phased out?

Just picked a set of black hex's for the front and rear of my b5. For some reason the rear hex's are to small to go over the axles. Seems like they would fit the old b4 axles. Has there been any issues with these.. Ordered a new set from my local hobby shop to see if it was just that pack..

Yes; we still have many in stock and they are for sale on the website.

Unfortunately Team Associated updated the rear axles (from 4.75mm to 5mm) for the "B5M Lite", but the standard B5 and B5M still have the smaller standard axles. So the hexes you purchased are for the standard 4.75mm axles that come with the B5 or B5M. The HD and standard axles are interchangeable between all the "B" series buggies, but you have to have the corresponding hexes.

Thanks for the info Paul. Kind of stinks now associated's site don't list the smaller axle's anymore. The part number is the same for the b5m and the lite. Both listed as heavy duty axles. Are you guys going to come out with HD black hexes??

They still list the standard axles and CVA kits under B5M Lite, but it's further down the page. I don't really understand their logic when listing the parts, but it seems most of the newer parts are at the top of the page. I think they actually just use the same parts page for both kits.

Yes; we have black hexes for the new axles, but their not available separately yet. They come with our new spring steel CVA's, but it will be a little longer before we get them separately.

I have a couple questions about the 3 drawer hauler bag. I am wondering if I can fit my tekno eb48.2 (8th scale buggy) in the big drawer, then fit my xray 4wd buggy (10th scale buggy) in a small drawer and then use the 3rd for the batteries and chargers and tools?
If not, I was thinking maybe get (2) of the two drawer versions (one for the 8th scale buggy and one for the 10th scale buggy). But wasn't sure if the 2 drawer version will hold buggies in the drawers. Any help is appreciated.

Your 1/8 buggy will fit in the drawer and the 4wd buggy will as well. On another note, of the three bags I have (JConcepts, Racers Edge, and OFNA), it is my least favorite because the compartment dividers sag even with little weight making it difficult to pull the drawers below them, out. I never use this bag anymore and would look for something else.

Your 1/8 buggy will fit in the top drawer of the Racers Edge bag and a 1/10th in the middle drawer leaving the two lower smaller drawers at the bottom, the top compartment (where my batteries, chargers, and motors are) and the side pouches for parts and stands. Oh, and the back for setup station and pitmat. Far better choice for the money in my opinion.

Wish the moderator wouldnt have locked your original post as I love JConcepts other products and hate to speak ill of them but this case just isnt worth the money.

Edit: and it has wheels!
