If they are new i could see this happening, if they are try running them some more they should mellow out.

Suggestion for TLR22 tires for mod buggy? I'll be running on a fairly large outdoor track, recently built and no one has really ran on it yet except for the guys building it. They are have the grand opening in two weeks, I know this is vague, but I just need a good starting point.

I've been out of the game for a few years, so I'm still playing catch up. lol

Thanks

I like to go to the next harder compound in this case. Green rear and blue front works well. A lot of guys here in FL run Carver fronts .

3D short course ETA?
Not 100% sure, but mid/late June.

3D's and or Double Dee's rear and Rips front (green compound) are always the tire I start out with on new tracks.

Green rips up front and green DD rears. Possibly a green 3D rear.

It's hard to beat either of those tires on fresh or grooved outdoor tracks.

PW- If I'm thinking about green 3D's for an outdoor 1/8th track that is dry, dusty, and has a bit of sand, would I be on the right track tire wise. It does develop a slight groove with a lot of traffic. Or would you recommend something with a smaller pin like the Hybrid. Temps in the High 80's Low 90's.

The 3D's seem to be the new go to tire for those types of tracks.

Hey Rob, if you're referring to JCP outdoor green flipouts and groovys were great last year. If you need any help on any of the Indiana tracks just let me know!

PW - do SC Carvers mello out the steering of the SC some on slippery tracks? I run on track with 1/8 cars and as the day goes on Double Dees all around start to feel too aggressive in the front. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Adam, actually, I was referring to the new/relocated track in Brownsburg, DK Raceway. I know back in VA, you pretty much had to run a pin tire regardless, but the soil here is a little better from what I have seen so far.

Where can I find 1/10 3Ds in green?
