I would like to say thanks for making such a good tire. I ran gold Bar Codes at MHOR R/C Raceway's Pizza Feast truck race in Denver. MHOR is a pink tire track, and sometimes slick pink taper are best. I ran two classes with my XXXT-CR (Mod & SuperStock), and at the end of the night i won the SuperStock A-Main.

Thank you for purchasing them, its good to hear that they are working for you.

I just ran the golds on both my 2 wheel and 4 wheel cars
Our track is indoors and mainly a losi pink track
tires felt very good, rear and front 4whl foam feels great very close to a bomb 1
Two questions:
1)the foam in the front 2whl. feels very soft almost worn out
Is this what is required for the front to work

2) We cant use buggy grip as a sauce is there one that you would recomend with this new compound if any ?

You can use firmer foams in the front tires, depending on what best suits your track. I cant say that we've experiemented with any tire sauces yet, so perhaps use what works best for you currently?

Also remember that Saucing always degrades the foams much quicker than normal running.

Carl, its good to hear you liked golds at LIR, I just ordered some to mount up and hopefully come out and run soon.

Yes this very true but, these are very soft from the the start
( front 2whl only)
They do work well
I just was not sure if the tire was designed to work with the softer foams for optimun performance

Anything you have done to the "other" tire can be done to the Gold, JConcepts compound. I have done all of the normal indoor things, and have found the results to be the same, so far.

Got to run the Gold Bar Codes last night on my truck, with the "U" on the inside and Bar Codes front and rear.

Everyone else was running Pink Tapers due to the shop doesnt have the Gold's in yet.

All the fast guys were running 13.8 lap times (yes, small track), I was able to do 13.3's and set a new track record that was 1 lap faster, thanks to the J Concept tires..

Now everyone is asking for them, its a good thing

1st run I did not sauce them, got 1 13.3 lap. 2nd Run I tried Buggy gripping them and all laps were in the low 13's.

Next couple weeks I will be testing other sauces, Paragon, WD, Ragu etc..:nod:

All Bar Codes should be available, and have been for nearly two weeks.
