Can you elaborate on what controlled practice is going to be? Controlled as in
gas and electric seperate, or as in heats set up?

I think it depends on how Jimmy Babcock wants to work it. I believe that it will be broken down into classes, not necessarily heats. Last year "controlled" turned into "open" because no one was going up on the stand, haha. Are you coming down for the race?

Have you tried running with the Y on the inside in the fronts also? If so, what was the difference?

Thanks,

The barcodes for the truck are awesome. I have never had a tire give that much side bite. They also have pretty good forward bite. They seem to also wear very well. I have ran them at the last to races I went to for 4 rounds of qualifying and 2 mains and they still look new just like they have been scrubbed a little bit. I have another pair coming I am going to mount on the front to see how they will be. I am guessing that with all the side bite they will be a great steering tire.

Anybody try the gold compound on a "pink tire" track to compare?

We've done extensive testing with the Gold compound and they have proven to work very well on "pink" tire tracks.

I am hoping to find out soon, the blue compound sucked at our track. It was only marginably good in dry loose summer conditions.

I am sure some of the boys already ordered them so maybe i can answer that question after this weekend.

Blue is meant for outdoor low dust high bite tracks.

Andy,

I heard by running the JC lowprofile ball cups it changed the tie rod angle? To me it looks like nothing would change even though it is not straight.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys,

On the truck bar codes are you running the Ys on the inside or the outside in the rear?

Thanks for your help.

I run the Y on the inside of the rear. I have not tried it on the outside yet.
