Yes but one of the originl selling points was to run 2 classes with the same car( or is it truck?) all you would have to do is change the wheels and the body.
The J82 is a conversion kit for a stock T4 which comes with standard wheels (non QC). Keep in mind that the J82 is a full 1" narrower (1/2" per side) giving the J82 the proper width to length ratio. To put QC wheels onto the J82; it would require either shorter suspension or new hubs, CVDs and the QC conversion from AE. The shorter suspension defeats the purpose of a long armed big buggy and all new parts would be much more expensive.

The simple fact is the J82 was designed well over a year ago (before QC) and the new T4 wheels were designed last month for the QC. It really is that simple; no one is trying to make things difficult:blush: It just works out that way sometimes:tire:

I guess i forget that this stuff is in the works for a long time before we hear about it. In any case if the mortgage industry ever gets out of the tank i am sure i will have one! By the way anyone in SoCal need a home loan!

Its no problem, not every situation is as it seems.

By the way, I need a home in SoCal, but I cant qualify...would you "work" the papers? :p

You have no idea how hard its getting. I am not actually a loan officer but i work for a lender and we get commisions for bringing loans in. Lets just say there are a LOT of people who bought houses in the last 3 years that had no business buying one. For some reason it became the norm to think everyone should be able to afford a half million dollar house. I would never do that to a fellow RC racer, this hobby is to expensive!. Its not time to buy yet anyway i dont think, and you may be able to qualify by the time the dust settles. Rant over and back to our regularly scheduled programing.

:ha: You aint kidding about people that shouldnt own homes. I live in Temecula and a neighbor across the street just got forclosed on because they couldnt afford $4000 a month mortgage. And they have 3 kids! My house is $1800 a month bought 3 years ago, they lived in their house barely a year! Crazy.

So has there been any word about an 82-Battle anywhere yet? I mean, I know it was released just a few weeks ago, but I'll bet a group of racers have picked some up by now to start the class.

Oh yeah, on topic. The J82 is sweet....I got to look at one that Jason brought out to Cactus. Looks like it would be blast on big 1/8 track  Too bad Tebo broke early on in the mod truck B-main at Cactus. Wanted to see it run more.

Just mounted up a set of the new Goose Bumps for the buggy rear, and 4wheel front, on Rulux wheels of course. Pretty wild looking. Going to try them out next weekend.

PW and proTC3, thanks for racing with us on Saturday. I'm glad you liked the track. We ran a class of J82's as an exhibition class and they were excellent. It was the first I've seen them run and I bought a conversion kit that day. They ran great on our track, which is primarily set up for 1/8th scale; and they handled it very well. I'll have mine built soon.
