I cant say definitively "no", but a belt drive BJ4 isnt on our current list of projects.

Besides, why mess with perfection.

Keep an eye out on the site tomorrow, we will hopefully have a whole bunch of new items ;). Monday at the latest.

Like ball cups? haha

On another note: Has Jason seen any problems with center one-way failures? Mine on my WE has failed twice making it a 2wd buggy. Not complaining cause im running diffs anyways now just wondering

Theres quite a few more items as well. :D

In my expirience I havent heard of any one-way bearing failures, but you might want to shoot Jason an email to see if he can shed some light on that (if there is any to be, haha).

Scrubb 03-30-2007 06:11 AM

I have a center one-way where the aluminum hub devoloped a small crack that allows the bearing inside to spin making it worthless. I also wore out the bearings in my NTC3 front one way.

Aggdaddy 03-30-2007 06:29 AM

One-way bearings fail all the time with those roto mount starters for nitro engines. I know its not quite the same application, but they break alot.

I imagine a brushless motor is probably putting more power on a one-way bearing than a rotostart drill though.

Are you coming to 555 tomorrow Andrew?

Well Ive had them in TC3 oneways, as well as the BJ4, without issue.

[Aggdaddy] -Those undergo much more stress, and its almost like they are designed to fail, haha.

Paul, yep!

This has NOTHING to do with April fools in case youre wondering ;)

Chris Jarosz 04-01-2007 03:54 PM

Jason Halvorson 04-01-2007 05:45 PM

This might be a stupid question, but im having problems finding a place to buy a BJ4, and was wondering what a good site would be?

thanks in advance...
