How long do you think it will be before the JConcept belt drive version is developed ? ;)

And what is wrong with the shaft drive?

Straight from Jason over on b4.com
"No plans for a belt version of the BJ4 at this time. I think part of what makes this car special is because of the closed gear boxes."

Why, becuase it is shaft driven is why the BJ4 has become the most popular offroad buggy period

Cheers

Because the belts act as shock absorbers and will be smoother on the track and
torque steer that the shaft has ...

Belts won't happen as loong as the Bj4 continues to win everything. If it starts to lose consistently to a belt car then maybe but right not the Bj4 is a win-win. Most of the critical parts are made by AE so J-concepts doesn't have to absorb the cost of development of a drivetrain.

Yes, they use the same chassis. I would actually reccomend the BK2 body because it allows for more speedo clearence.

[Ephidelt490] -That looks soo sick! Im lovin the paint and the black wing on the Losi. :tire:

[Wild Cherry] -I'll take your bet. ;)
