I will try to make it down, but no promises on racing. Email me, I have a new setup for you to try.

For 2wd fronts, 8175s are the best (with full rear foams), or for Losi fronts 7205s usually run pretty good too. For rear, the tires are dead on, just run stock foam in Proline rears, bomb 1 grey in Losi rears. For 4wd fronts, usually red blockhead for Losi rears, and maybe (I haven't had a chance to try them yet) Inside Jobs with Fuzzie Rears...
Just an FYI

Hi guys. I was wondering how well (or worse) red x-2000s are at socal in comparison to pink x-2000s? I read through most of this thread and noticed that M3 holeshots, sq fuzzies and pink x-2000s seem to be the hot ticket, but wanted to how the reds affect handling over there since I have a few pairs of them. Thanks.

The drier the track the better reds will work. MOST of the time pink will give more traction but with the high winds and low humidity lately the track has been drying out and reds would work better. They will also work well as the track dries out in the hot summer months. Since they water the track every night they usually only work well during the end of the day. With all that being said give them a try. They are not all that far off in traction.
