At that price, I was one click away at getting one while I waited for the RC that I really wanted. I then went, and did some searching for parts support. A person can still find parts, but Redcat does not list the SC10E on their site anymore .

Have they discontinued it? That would make sense for the price, I don't know what i'd do if I were you, but i'm sure that you could still find parts, and Redcat will still have support for it. Anyways, that's weird, It hasn't even been around that long.

Thanks for the heads up, I have actually been recommending this truck because I believed it was a HongNor design, now I have to wonder if they simply sold off the remnants of HongNor inventory as opposed to manufacturing with new blends of plastic???

Thumbs up New Truck?

Found this on the front-page of Redcats website, I excited to see more on it. It looks sweet.

Too bad it appears to be based on a copy of the traxxas slash 4x4 chassis.

Yeah, it's an 1/8 though, and the slash's chassis is a pretty basic layout for a 4WD platform. I was looking a the pictures and it the tires look a a total copy of Proline Badlands, because they aren't branded with anything Proline on it

Not to get "off track", but I just had to throw this into the mix after a quick glance of very, very similar new platform. That very, very similar new layout/chassis is very, very interesting. Explain this...https://www.associatedelectrics.com/...IVAL_MT10/RTR/

what they decide to call 8th scale means nothing. It's got a shorter wheelbase than a slash.

Yeah, at least it's not a total re-brand thought, and that Associated truck looks cool but it sucks that it's a re-brand.

Looks like they're trying to take a shot at axial, looks pretty dope though. Nice to see more products coming out. I like the Raceline wheels a lot too.

After having several Redcat vehicles. I wish they hurry up and come out with a more durable plastic. Gen 8 plastic is brittle. Shock mounts broke, twisted axle housing, str knuckles and covers for portal gears.
Now the team vehicles look even more up the the challenge. Jammin SCRT10 re-branded as Redcat. That's ok with me. The only thing I ever broke on that truck was the front bumper support. T-Bone racing should be able to help that out.
