The Gen8 is a vehicle always had in back of mind. I like that it has more speed. I like they use HW electronics in many of their vehicles.

I think they do, I think that the actual maker of all of those generic vehicles is a Chinese owned firm. But i'm not sure.

Now the team vehicles look even more up the the challenge. Jammin SCRT10 re-branded as Redcat. That's ok with me. The only thing I ever broke on that truck was the front bumper support. T-Bone racing should be able to help that out.
Yeah, the plastics are definitely not up to the same base as other larger manufactures. I had a Landslide XTE that I kept on breaking suspension arms and tie rods (the little plastic parts of them), but I have had 2 TR-MT10E's and they have been awesome trucks. I also am a huge fan of their customer support.

Are the Injora's good quality, I was looking at getting some for my Gen 8 but I don't know if I want those, or something from Integy.

They are really good for the money, the anodising isn’t vanquish standard, but more than acceptable considering the price

Yeah, I do like Vanquish products, but they are pretty expensive, thanks.

The crawlers are nothing like some of their cheap and nasty rtr’s, the Wendigo and gen 7/8 are very well regarded 👍

I had a blackout pro, it was basically Exceed quality with a different name, but I have had some good ones like the TR-MT10E, I own two of them. I think on their newer vehicles the plastic molds and material quality has seen a boost, but the old stuff is pretty brittle and low quality.

I thought that Redcat was only going to make their own vehicles... I guess not, its basically the Haiboxing 16889 but at a higher price, and with no brushless option. It does look better in my opinion, and if it has oil filled shocks then that will be a bonus. It may just be a cash booster while they are trying to push new / original products.

Hello, new Redcat owner here (not new to rc). I just got the MT10E last week and having some bad luck with it. I have only run it a few times and already sheared of the rear bevel gear. I have run it with 2s and 3s lipos. I had the 3s in it when it sheared
the bevel gear right off. I wasn't doing anything abnormal with it just normal jumps and racing around my backyard. I emailed Redcat customer service and the guy told me that it wasn't recommended to use 3s lipos with it even thoug their website clearly states 2s to 3s lipo supported. I don't get it. Is this hopefully a fluke? I hope I didn't waste money
buying the 3s lipo for this or if I wasted money on this MT10e.

I have had two of these, I had the same problem on one of them, only on 2s, but it was a crash that bent the shock towers. Probably the best thing to do would be to contact the people you bought it through, but other than that I would just give customer support another try, I typically run mine on 3s batteries and I never knew that they didnt recommend it. If so, thats pretty lame.
