Car looks awesome! So in my area Parts for my Yokomo are rare and out of stock online so I'm switching brands. As AE is popular around me, I was looking to give this a try. Where could you put a fan if your running this in like a spec class like 21.5 or 17.5?

I place the fan above the motor using the Exotek fan holder. Works perfectly

wonder if they could integrate a fan mount location into the chassis or tranny case out of the box? that would be cool, literally

I’ll ask Will to get his thinking cap on about a nice fan mount for the car

Not much been going as we are on lock down I the UK so my car is sat and ready to go, next outing will be outside on Astro so can’t wait to try the car when this crisis is over

A fellow Willspeed owners custom anodised car, it’s a bit different for sure!

that be a cool option from the factory, your choice in anodizing

got in the rear zero degree rear toe blocks for the yokomo, look good, looking forward to mounting them.

this one company had a fan and wiring setup that put the fan in front of the motor for the B74 (was supposed to work for the yz4sf too but the top deck gets in the way). Personally I liked the layout, fan then blows front to rear and it didn't take up any space I would see for the ESC.

hopefully whatever is designed for the yz2 takes into account swaybar mounts and quick change diffs.

So a bit of a history lesson! In the pics is the first ever Willspeed car based on a Schumacher KC , Will made a belt car gear driven!

It won on its debut at club level and the idea was formed and the RF2 was born, the car was built onto the X-ray XB2 platform and then the Associated B6.1/2 and coming next is the Yokomo version!

There is talk of a Schumacher Laydown but watch this space!!

From Will’s FB post:

The original Willspeed. The prototype 5 gear laydown car that lead on to the released RF2.
There's three of these chassis in existence (fits a Schumacher KC) but only one has this transmission, motor mount and rear tower.
