What are the effects of the front wheelbase adjustments?

I race on a 2m wide carpet track with lots of 180-degree bends and I'm thinking of running the shortest wheelbase possible at the front and shortest (hubs forward) at the rear...although this does hurt on-throttle steering. I have plenty of rear grip, need the buggy to have a better turning radius.

Next port of call is rear sway bar kit

Flip to the back of the manual and it describes in detail the multitude of adjustments for the whole buggy. But what I suggest to everyone, is to test each one adjustment during a practice timed session. Time go down per lap, continue. If times go up , your adjustments are the wrong way. Thats the best way to see if what you changed works.

What rear toe are you using?

Is that an option part? I'm sure mine only came with 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 inserts

not a option part, but its included in the newer batches of inserts. You probably have older insert sets. I think its the same part number, just updated.

Hey Guys,

What's the difference between the U4352 and U7700 gear diffs?

Visually, I can see metal pins vs plastic cross and the out drives are a different color. Are the out drives just a different color or are they a different metal?

Cheers,
Scott

Hey guys im really thinking of purchasing this car. I'm torn between this and the losi 2wd 5.0. I would race between clay and carpet. I have a tekno 4wd buggy and a losi 2wd sct truck and now im looking to add the 2wd buggy.

I'm setting up my new to me Cougar for a high bite clay track, should I use the alloy rear hub carriers that came on the car, of switch back to the stock carriers? Thanks, Dave.

personally, I have run the alloy hub carriers from day one. Never a issue, and completely adjustable. Plus brass insert helps keep weight down low.
