Welcome to the ET410 Wiki page.

  • 95% parts compatibility with the EB410 4WD 1/10th scale buggy.
  • Updated 3mm 7075 CNC chassis and revised A and B hinge pin braces.
  • 13mm hard anodized threaded shocks with locking spring perches.
  • New 32 pitch spur gear for ultimate durability
  • 3.5mm shock shafts with revised dual guide x-ring cartridge.
  • 7075 CNC machined adjustable hinge pin brace system.
  • Three high volume fluid-filled adjustable differentials.
  • Lightweight 7075 tapered center driveshafts.
  • Quick access to differentials and maintenance friendly layout.
  • Captured CVA front and rear driveshafts with heavy duty 6mm stub axles.
  • Fully ball raced reverse bellcrank steering system.
  • Uses 1/10th AE Offset Stadium Truck or Traxxas Slash Short Course offset wheels.
For you guys all discussing what power plant to run, I would take note of the following statement from Matt W.

Matt - Probably would recommend a 10.5 for something similar to 13.5 in a buggy. I personally run a 6.5 in it and it’s pretty fast. Pro4 4600 will run in it but it has a lot of power and will need to be turned down in the esc.

were they the +3 offset which are rears I believe,or the fronts?.... I know the front and rears are different on the AE.

sounds like your close, considering it’s only going to get warmer as we get into summer. I like 135* personally(as in a high temp)but will run 115* all day if that’s what it’s at.

SC5M and SC6.1, same rims, +3, front and rear. Known as 3mm offset.

AE wheels are the same front and rear, it's Traxxas that uses wider offset up front than the rear.

I should have explained it better. When using ST tires mounted up on Associated stadium truck wheels, and then switch to SC tires mounted on SC wheels that are the Traxxas 4wd SC offset, you will lose about 4mm of width on each side (8mm total). Hope that helps.

I run my RCs on a rough off-road track (backyard) with little pebbles, and rocks imbedded in the soil (as shown in picture below). A layer of the mixture is usually in the corners.

I never had issues with my 1/8 buggy getting something lodged in center diff gear, but the ET410 picked up a little something extra the other day.

This is the first time in two months that this has happened. If this was happening every time I threw the truggy into a corner, I probably would be disappointed to the max. It would be hard for me to let this platform go, and search for a 1/10 truggy with enclosed spur gear/slipper clutch setup.

Anyways, a big shout out to Tekno RC for using a 32 pitch center diff gear! I know, by the looks of things, I had some debris go into gears; got chewed up, and spat back out.

If you run Slash fronts you'll gain about 3mm per side in overall width. If you then run our +1 hexes you should end up close to what you're looking for.

wow,I do not like how that body is open in the rear by your center diffs letting all that debris in I ran hard outdoors today and my stock body kept virtually all debris out.

Thanks for the info on the SC wheels guys. Unfortunately I can’t use that big selection of slash rear wheels/tires I have. Oh well. I did run the ST wheels today in a race at CTRC in so cal with these panthers tires and dragged home a TQ and win.🏎💨🇺🇸

according to this video there are two different AE wheels. He doesn’t say it like that but they are F/R...I had an SC 5 a couple years ago,I remember ordering the wheels from JConcepts and they recommend the standard wheel for the front and the +3 for the rear. Not what the book called for but they did fit and handle better. Unfortunately I don’t have them any more so I couldn’t test.. so front slash for the win contrary to the manual.👍

I am using an RSX and Pro4 4600 motor. I have tried all kinds of pinions trying to get it right, and a 21 is pretty decent right now. The motor is very cool to touch even after a hard run, just amazing. I will try a 24 just to see what it does, but the 21 does well. I really like the layout of that track.

I tried a 24 tooth pinion on this with the Pro4 4600 and it was too much and was getting warm, so I went back to 21. I just ordered a 22 to see it that is a better choice, find out soon.
