The Schelle mount works best if you have the Schelle battery strap or are thinkIng of getting it.

The Schelle fan mount works on the stock B6.1 battery strap. No need to get the Schelle one.

Anyone try running without the water fall? If so what did you think?

I plan to try this at the INS this week.

Ran my first few pacs on the car today at OCRC. It was a lot of fun to drive. Had a lot of steering jumped and landed nice. I ended up adding some weight under the batttery using the lay down trans.

How do you guys take out on power push when steering in a 180 or 90 degree corner for your B6.1?

I've gone to 22mm front droop in factory shocks positions, moved my battery further forward, narrow rear pills and loosened my diff a tad, not book by any measure, but worked for me

Increase front droop, move battery forward, add weight plates under servo, if on carpet, run brass front bulkhead

Just finished putting together my b6.1d and following the kit setup I end up with two degrees of positive camber in the rear. Is there a typo in the manual has anybody else run into this problem?

just adjust your links to get what you want, that's why they are adjustable.

I don't even look at those numbers. I just thread them all the way in and then adjust as needed. This way they are already threaded all the way and are easier to adjust later.

The kits measurements are just there to get you close. You always have to adjust from there.

just basing off all the previous kids I did from them it was pretty close this one was off by 4 degrees so I was wondering if I put something together incorrectly if it was off slightly I wouldn't have even cared

there isn't really anything you could've built incorrect to give a different camber setting. You maybe built something with different settings but that doesn't mean its wrong. If you want to run the book set up then double check your camber link positions and your C/D mount inserts are to the book. Otherwise just adjust as required.

that's what I figured I thought just maybe the Cambridge link positions might be off which is no big deal I guess because I'll just tune to the track anyhow

Okay my kit will be here next week, I'm building my 6.1 just for carpet. Mostly for this years IOCC race in Vegas 21.5 class, should I use the brass bulk head or the aluminum AE one? front and rear bars or just front? My local carpet track is closed only real testing I can get in will be on Astro.

Double check that everything is according to the setup sheet in the back of the book. Sometimes the pictures or instructions are different to what the setup sheet specifies.
