As far as he knew, this was only on Amain's 6.1 orders, and didn't know if this delay would affect other 6.1 orders through LHS or other outlets. But if Amain (being one of the, if not THE biggest Associated online distributors) is not getting their fulfillment on time, one can only assume other outlets will be affected by this delay as well.

Oh well...first-world problems...right?

Edit: Amain's product page for the B6.1 still shows "Arriving on Friday, March 30 2018", but the amain associate said this would be updated soon to reflect the delay.

That sucks I'll have to call where I pre ordered to see if it's going to be a couple more weeks. If so I'm canceling and going with another brand.

It’s literally going to be like a week. But...you do you.

Good idea.... That'll show em. Sometimes it's good to say stuff out loud to yourself before you post it on the interwebs.

Fun fact: You cannot know whether you like something better than something that has not been released yet!

Don't worry jag5508, they will still sell you a car when you are ready for the 6.1 and won't have any hard feelings.

Just ordered a new Sanwa/Airtronics M12S-RS to use with my 6.1D...anyone used the RS version of the M12S before?

Any general pro tips on radio config/setup for this RS model? Will be running on medium-high to high bite dirt indoor.

Thanks in advance for any insights/suggestions!

I was up last night thinking the same. Then I remembered this was the car I wanted. Good thing is if it’s delayed awhile, the wife said I could buy another car during the wait. Lol She’s awesome.

6.1 conversion complete. Everything went pretty smooth. There are some changes in screw size but nothing crazy. The screw that holds the rear camber plate was a bit odd (not m3 flush). The only issue I had was with the AE brass weights. They are too wide to fit between the waterfall and side rails. According to AE's compatibility they didn't change side rails or waterfall. I ended up swapping out the weights from another buggy. I ended up at 1538 with lots of titanium, orion 3800 battery, 50 gram under the battery, brass bulkhead and c block.

Total cost $160 + $32.50 for direct drive (eliminator) and 69t spur. If you get the slipper cost will be different. I didn't get either tower as I understand there is no performance gain. The shield on the front is nice but I chose to forego for now.

Headed to the (carpet) track tomorrow to see how it runs.

My LHS has a YZ-2 DTM WC left. Might (will) buy that while I wait!
