Found this fan mount. Where exactly would you mount it?

I simply shoe-gooed a fan, on the chassis, behind the motor. Sticks fine and hasn’t ever moved. Temps usually about 130 after 7 min main (running 5.5 on carpet)

It mounts on the rear chassis brace. With the other two holes on the mount for securing the fan

Same here, I got my kit today and built it upto completing and mounting center slipper and stopped for the evening. I will let you know if I find it.

Anyways, let me introduce myself here.

My name is Kevin. I used to race 1/8 nitro buggy and truggy back in my day. I have not wheeled since 2008. Today I jumped in with both feet again and purchased a YZ-4 SF kit after a little research. I will be running it at OCRC in Huntington Beach in the "Truth" class. I picked up a Hobbywing XR10 Pro ESC for it and a Schuur Speed 13.5t V4 motor. Thats the size motor for their "Truth" class. Protek servo and some Proline tires as well. Almost a 4 digit day today.

As I finish building this car and finally get it to the track for some practice I'm sure I will have a few questions so bear with me. Like I said it has been a few years since I have wheeled. Hopefully nobody laughs at my old ass radio, it is KO Propo EX10 Helios. I loved it back then and it still works so I am going to run it. I spent enough money today!! I still need to go buy batteries and a charger.

Can anyone comment on the missing parts from bag 1?

Thanks - Kevin

Where you get this body?

basically this:

https://www.amainhobbies.com/schelle...hl1307/p692713

of course modified in some way, but I run this on my EB410 and its great.

and only reason I mention it is for more spur options and there slipper setup options if you are used to it.

Same here. Did you ever find the washer and shock end ball? I have some from other cars, but wondering if I might find them later today when I finish the build. Thanks

They're in a different bag. With the battery strap.

Yes found it at the end of building the kit. It was in another bag. Kit was by far the smoothest kit I have built. The drive train and shocks are butter smooth. Taking it to the track tomorrow.

Yes, very similar. The shocks are just as smooth as Kyosho. The drivetrain is very free...surprised as it is gear diff's. I was expecting more resistance but it is quite the opposite.
