The greatest aspect of the scale scene to me, is the fitness aspect. I'm a fat boy who had never exercised since gym in elementary school. The first time I went crawling with my buddies, I walked for miles. Now granted, I was hurting the next day, but boy it was a lot of fun.

I am lucky in that Fredericksburg, Va has some awesome crawl spots. Woods, rocks, and plenty of mud and water. Nothing like running a scale truck completely submerged and hoping the current doesn't take it away...lol. Crawling has been very beneficial to me mentally and physically. The bonus is that I have a three year old son who loves being out in the woods and chasing the SCX10. It makes me feel good getting him out of the house, away from the TV and tablet.

I hope you can find a good spot near you, just keep searching and looking around. There must be something nearby, or so I would hope.
