Default Wheels slightly bigger than hexes, damage?

I ordered new wheels. I have 12mm brass hexes. I would say the slot in these wheels is actually about 13mm. They do lock up but there is a drop of slack. I have very high torque motors. I was just wondering if this could strip the hexes or wheels? If so, should I just glue it? What glue would you use if I should do that? Thanks

I've encountered the same issues with oversize 13mm hex slot on wheel . Just slot in some 1mm thickness of tin foil or solid strips of plastic sheet wrapped around 12mm hex's outer perimeter and then tight fit it in inside the wheel hex. Job done.
