I'm just bitter 'cause I couldn't go faster than 11.6 with my boosted 13.5. ;-) I'm going to get slaughtered in ABQ.

I am sure you will do just fine...I was talking with some locals down there and they tell me that traction has been pretty good lately. Sounds like they have been spraying their track and traction has got a lot better. Wish I could go, but work is getting in the way!

Sweet, traction will be nice. I think i heard it was a little low last year. Got a 1S SPv3 13.5 on the way. They're fast, but power delivery is butter smooth, unlike this angry D3.

11.6 best, it generally hovered around 12.0 though. I was testing a totally new setup (long arms, no sway bars) and the new Hobbywing software, neither of which I think were very good. I'm gonna stick with Tekin and my normal car setup for now. Only thing I'll mess with is comparing the 1S SPv3 with the D3. The new Speed Passion motors are very different than the old ones.

A few years ago I stopped eating bread and drinking soda/pop and i lost 40 pounds in a year.

This might be a stupid question but I guess I will ask.

What is the difference between World GT and Pan car?

I have seen many cars that are either World GT or Pan and I can't tell which is which. If you could shed some light on the subject I would be much appreciative.

Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Kind regards,
JD

WGT is a 1/10th scale pan car. 1/12 is a 1/12th scale pan car. There's more differences between them than just the size, but they're based on the same general concept.

Just a fine point ....... from someone who as Mario says was around when the first car was made .......

Pan cars were both 1/12 scale and 1/10th scale when they were started. The 1/10th scale cars were roughly 235mm wide cars running on road and oval. The WGT cars were started just 4 years ago and it is a narrow version of the 1/10th pan cars at 200mm wide just like the nitro touring cars. They still run the same size tires as the older 235 cars and current oval cars, but run a spec tire that is the same front and rear.

There is still a small group of us who run the wider 235mm wide cars out side on the pavement. Very fast with 2 cell lipo, 10.5 brushless motors. Cars are faster than the 1/10 nitro or electic touring and gettting close to 1/8 nitro 4wd lap times.

Yes I have A LOT of pan cars.........which in my mind is good!!!
