Brad (Karz Pres) did a great PR piece in the local paper!

Neither of us are sure where they got that RC car pic from, but a good article!

5 days!!!

Registration problem has been fixed. For clubs not listed, please use the "other" category. Seven slots are available for transponder number, too.

Hey, good news! We have an actual menu for the concession. As mentioned previously, there will be freshly made food available at the venue. 30% pf proceeds are going to the food bank, with the remainder going to the Bert Church School band program. We're asking that outside food not be brought in, as the school is doing us a huge favour and we'd like to help them out in return.

Cash only, please. Debit will not be availablez

Hey guys, if you could, please register at the WCICS website. (top bar of the page) We've added a category of "other" under the club heading, as we can't keep up with all of them for now. You can add transponder numbers anytime, or on Friday.

Thanks very much! We look forward to seeing you guys.

I don't know, dude. See, we hired a colour consultant (at great expense, I might add) and he's worked out a scheme whereby the pit areas will be toned so as to calm racers after a stressful heat, but also prepare them mentally for the next. The pits are divided into 4 main areas and each subdivided by a representative palette. For example, you've been assigned to the teal 5 area, which is accented with shades of aqua and periwinkle. I guess what I'm saying is, unless your chair coordinates with the overall theme, it will distract other racers and provide you with an unfair advantage.

On a related note, beginning next year we will no longer use the negative sounding word "pits". We're considering a change to something more uplifting like "restorative preparation area."

lol ... okay, okay ... you know, I figured it was probably a stupid question, but I simply thought I should ask out of courtesy. You never know when something little like that may cause a stir. Would hate to walk in with my chair and have people start complaining because I have a special chair and everyone else gets 'normal' chairs or some stupid thing. Heck, I've seen stupider things cause bigger headaches.

Anyhow, I'd better get to work sewing a teal, aqua and periwinkle cover for my chair.

Looking forward to meeting you guys, glad to know ya got a sense of humor. That is ... if you are joking. lol ...

One day until the end...of waiting for SNOWPOCALYPSE 2013!

I hope you're all practiced, registered and ready to race, because there's only one day left. We've got a bigger venue, a better menu and a whole lot of fun ready to go starting Friday night. There'll be smashin, bashin, crashin...and that's just the TC A-main! You know, the "good" drivers. Just wait until I hit the track with my mini. Yikes! I'll also be fulfilling the role of rolling speed bump in the fast and fun WGT class. I can't drive it worth a damn, but I'm gonna have a good time.

I there's anything you guys need, let us know and we'll do our best to help you out.

You won't be the only noob driving WGT. I am dragging along another club members just to play with for the weekend. Will be my first time driving it... so ... I apologize now.
