Default KARZ

KARZ IS GOING TO BE DOING ANOTHER MOVE.

WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO HUNTINGTON HILLS COMM CENTER STARTING THIS WEEKEND. THEY WILL STILL BE DOING CONSTUCTION BUT NOT FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS ( THIS IS NOT TOTALY CONFIRMED BUT IT IS NOT HAPPENING NEXT YEAR). SCOTT AND MYSELF HAD A VERY PRODUCTIVE MEETING WITH HH. PLEASE DO NOT READ ANYTHING INTO THIS OR FESTER ANY RUMOURS ABOUT WHY WE ARE LEAVING. THE CARCAR ADMIN AND RACERS HAVE BEEN MORE THAN COOPERATIVE AND GREAT HOSTS TO US AND HAVE ACCOMODATED US GREATLY. (THANKYOU VERY MUCH)
IF ANYTHING IT HAS MADE RC RACING EVEN STRONGER IN CALGARY.
IF THERE IS ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK AWAY OR SEND PM'S TO SCOTT OR MYSELF. WE WILL HAVE MORE INFO OF SOME CHANGES WE WILL BE DOING AS WELL, BUT FOR NOW HERE ARE THE RACE DATES FOR JAN.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP ANYTHING YOU MAY HAVE LEFT AT THE HORSESHOE CLUB AS IN CHAIRS OR CORDS.

JAN RACE DATES

JAN 8- 5PM SET UP RACING TO FOLLOW
JAN 14- 4 PM SET UP RACING TO FOLLOW
JAN 22 -5 PM SET UP RACING TO FOLLOW
JAN 28-29 NO RACING TO SUPPORT WCICS IN LETHBRIDGE

THANKS
BRAD

I just fixed that up, AJ. Although, we've never disallowed GT class, we forgot to promote it. So, bring out the cars you just can't run anywhere else, guys. 1:10 on road chassis, silver cans and rubber tires...those are the only rules! Should be a blast.

You know, I have a 5x10 snooker table in my basement that I bet would make an awesome small scale track It's not like I use it for snooker - it's covered with photography and R/C stuff

For ref, my track is basically an L, 16'x16'x8' wide, with 22" lanes. Check out Kijiji and search for Mini-z in Calgary. Guy has a 4wd Subaru Mini-Z RTR with a foam style track home built, that may fit on your snooker table. Would be an easy transition and a good car.

Can't remember who I mentioned this to last night, but here is a link to the servo mount reinforcing plate for the M-03. Very handy and on sale!

Yes seriously!

I can't justify 130$ ESC and motor combo's for Tamiya Mini's, no matter how good they are.

Default 380 can sized M07

Hey all. I was just net surfing. trying to find some info on tamiya's new M07 FWD mini. As rumors have it its going to be like the new TA05 M4. That beening that it can only run the 380 sized motor. And all minis there after will be 380 can. That really sucks Boe Boe cheese!
Heres to hoping that if this comes true ORCA can make are 380 motors in a 380 sized can.
