Default KARZ Calgary

Just wanted to welcome everyone to a new rc racing club!! We didn't want to be in conflict with CARCAR or RCGEARS, we just needed a evening on the weekends, to accomodate some work schedules and some younger racers, for getting up for school!!

At this time we are running the Tamiya mini class only....and we run the same rules as CARCAR does.......any body style is allowed. The track right now is 25X60 until the end of June. In September we will be adding some area to accomodate other classes!!!

We are running at Huntington Hills arena, center street north, track set-up is from 5:30-6:00, racing from 6:00-9:00!!

Our next race date is Sunday April 27, with 3 Sundays in May, and 3 Sundays in June!! Then we start up again in September.....3 Sundays per month!!

I know that some of our racers are looking forward to attending the CARCAR summer series.....and hopefully some of you CARCAR guys come and get some extra racing in at our facility!!

Tables and chairs are provided.....we do not have a transponder system yet...but we do track laps and sort racers together!!!

Thanks for reading this post,
Roy Valberg VP

Default Great time racing

Just wanted to say that I had a great time racing last night at this new club.

The track was great. Looking forward to future racing at this venue.

Anyone that drives a MINI needs to come out and give it a try.

Yup, I had a great time, too. Good track, low pressure environment, and nothin' but minis! What more could I want?

Just found out that I won't be able to make it next Sunday, though. I'll be missing mini racing, but I do get to go to roller derby. Fair trade I'd say.

I bwoke my widdle caw!

No biggie. Six bucks and two weeks shipping out of Singapore and it'll be good as gold.

Good racing, in any case. I tortured myself by running the M04. Fast car in the straights, but squirrely as heck in the corners.
