74/55 is about where the 13.5 guys are at with 46mm tires. Seems like a pretty safe spot to start for 1s, you really have to get some big pinions with tires that small though

I heard CRC Purple fronts with CRC Magenta rears as well. Who makes the Orange and Lilac tires?

Is the 1/12 class 13.5 or 17.5 on race days?

When you say 74/55, are you referring to the spur and pinion gear?

Thanks

As mentioned, CRC Purple fronts and CRC Magenta rears are excellent on this track. Paragon FXII early in the day and Ground Effects when the traction comes up.

As for gearing (13.5t 1s blinky), with 46mm tires I run a 72 spur and 47 pinion, the gearing mentioned above may be intended for a 17.5t motor as that seems extremely high.

I've heard of a few, the track is going in on Friday so Marco will be there Saturday around 9-9:30 to blow off the track and spray if needed. $10 paid to Marco to cover power/spray and such, lap timer will be on and recording

The fast laps on Sunday usually go to the people that practice Saturday
