I’m new to the USGT format. Are the Protoform Mazda and Dodge bodies approved for USGT?

Here is the full list, but in general the Mazda and Dart or Stratus Dodge bodies would be T2 touring cars and considered to be a disadvantage in the class although locally, I don't think anybody would have a problem with it including our track.

Just an update for everybody, we're back to the usual 2nd/4th weekends for onroad club racing until the Reedy powered BFTR on Sept 8th/9th (practice friday the 7th all day). RV permits are $30/day, let me know ahead of time. signup link is at https://www.rcsignup.com/events/disp...nt.cfm?ID=6497

Onroad track prep this Saturday morning then open practice on a new more corner speedy type layout including the pump house turn as it will absolutely be in the BFTR layout and we locals should get some practice on it again. Racing on Sunday the 12th at 9:30, hope to see you there.

we are still a club. Bill bought a 650cfm blower last year and Cody bought 8 or 10 of the small corner blowers this year and built steel stands/marshal cones for them. We also have the large wheeled circular blower. What else would you like to see?

if you mean the offroad track is dusty, no amount of blowing can remove that. It isn’t indoor damp clay, carpet or turf.

if you mean the onroad track is dusty, it was windy Sunday although the track was blown Saturday and Sunday mornings.

You can't please all the people all the time. You seem to be doing a great job from what I read. keep up the good work.

I really don't think anyone would want to pay $85 to race a regular club race. Think about that for a second. Sounds a bit extreme. I also know it has been a year and a half since I was a club member and the battery powered backpack blower was with the club before Brian took office. If it isn't working for its intended purpose so be it. I have the exact same thing at home and love it. You or anyone can't blame the current club president for that. It is hard to run a club when the help isn't but a few people helping. Maybe you should join the Roadrunners and offer to help make things better. If I lived much closer to the track, I would offer to help much more than I do. As a friend used to say "a club is only as strong as its membership".

I also think Brian is doing a good job considering the support and equipment he has to with. It is hard to please everyone all the time.

Sorry I missed the last race. I will definitely try to make the next one.

2nd and 4th sundays, so this month that makes it next weekend the 26th, practice on the 25th. Next month is Sept 8th/9th for BFTR (onroad) and then the 23rd for club racing.

Maybe a permanent post at the top of the thread with the Race Calendar would be a good idea? For FB and here?
