Also looking into Sept 29/30, so far I haven't been able to find any direct conflicts. I'll have to see what parks has available, as we saw today, agility dogs take up a TON of parking

I am also strongly considering Sept 8/9, that seems to be the most favorable although its the weekend after the PROTOform cup.

The 15° cooler weather should help with BFTR attendance I hope

Brian,
What's your best way to "poll" the potential attendees? Does the club have a good following on your Facebook page? Or here maybe? You can't please everyone, but maybe there's a way to get some input...

FB has been the primary poll, reaches hundreds but 10's vote.

At the moment, dates are basically coming down to conflicts, 8/9 is about the only thing free without pushing into october which also has a lot of issues.

Good luck with it. I'll watch the dates and join if possible. I hear it's a great event.

If only 10% vote in the poll, then 90% should have no complaints. Nice theory, I know...

I've been following all the track news what a roller coaster ride, I'm glad everything worked out. Can't wait to race BFTR. Hopefully all the dates talked about don't eND up on the weekend of September 15th

I do have a question in regards to RV parking and over night camping. Any idea if the park will still allow this? If so, will you (Brian) be able to get a head count of RV's attending and pre purchase over night camping permits?

Hi everyone. I am really happy to hear that things got straightened out with the parks department. Nice work. I was wondering if there was any interest in having an evening race program? I figure there is probably not too much interest, but I figured I would ask anyway.

Great news Brian. Sorry for such a late response but I have been camping for the last week and won't get home or at least back to civilization until Friday. I will look in to my work schedule to try and get the time off. Hope to see everyone again soon.

Ran into a friend at one of the camgrounds early in my camping trip. Those of you who know Jeff Yung, yes that Jeff Yung was camping there too. He saw me first but I recognized his voice as soon as he called my name from a distance. It was good to see him again and it truly is a small world.

There is RV parking, get in touch with me here or probably better [email protected] and I'll pre purchase your permit from the parks dept for $30/day

Offroad friday nights haven't really had enough attendance but I could see running a round and a main Fridays if we can get enough to show interest.

Parks approved Sept 8th/9th with practice on Friday the 7th.

For those interested in the Goldenstate offroad event, it's running as planned on August 18/19, practice on the 17th.

I am down with Friday nights. It might be nice in the summer to race in the evening to reduce the heat.
