Wow what a great day of on road racing . A big thank you to everyone who came out to make it possible. Also thank you to George who came out and helped set up the track and didn't even race. We're working on the results and will post them on the website soon. One more item is we are missing the #6 transponder, please check your cars and get it back to us. Thank you,

Big thanks to Ray for his dedication to keeping the track clean, getting out there early for Saturday track prep and practice, and even busting out the BBQ. You're the man.
It was a fantastic weekend of racing, thanks Roadrunners.

We are counting down to the Roadrunner's RC Big Fat Turkey Race. This is a great 2 day event. Some people even make it 3 days
June 26-28th
practice 26th
qualifying 27th
mains 28th
If you would like to participate, please download an entry form from our website and send to Lisa Robertson. Make checks out to Roadrunners RC
A couple of things to take into consideration:
If the non racers in the family want to come- but not race- there is something for that- Camarillo Premium Outlets is down the street, Ventura Harbor and downtown Ventura are only 20 mins away
Transponders: RR use 2 wire transponders. No 3 wire. If you do not have a personal transponder try and borrow one. The "house" transponders we have are limited.
I hope to have all your registrations in by June 15th. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions
can't wait for some great racing

Thanks for a good race day yesterday.
Looking at the site today it seems to have lost the link to the onroad club race results.
I heard you mention that there was some descrepency with the mod laps from my car. I didn't have any issues with that car in Q1 or Q2. The car that did have issues was in my 13.5 car but only in Q1, Q2 and Main were fine. I was running 2wire AMB into the channel 3. Worked fine at Reedy...
The lap count issues seems random and not repeatable. Perhaps a call to Doug Hay is in order. A quick search online nets about a dozen threads on the issue; the oval guys always seem to be a step ahead suggest - make sure the loop seperation is at least 18 inches. Closer will cause missed laps.
I also reached out to some trusted gurus;
*If the timing loop is set narrow there could be problems counting cars going fast over the loop as the hit in and hit out is very close in time and the scoring system can’t distinguish the time difference.
Not sure if there is a gain control on the decoder but it would be good place to start.
It seems these issues have been in play since BFT last year. Hope you guys find the gremlin.

Off road race 6/7/15: it's points race #4 this weekend. The usual schedule, work party on Thursday, starts around 4 pm till ? To get the track prepped for some Friday night under the lights and Sunday racing. Come on out and show your support for the club and it's off-road program. Thank you

Don't mean to bug, just haven't seen any comment on this yet; Do we have the results from Sunday's on-road races? I find it helpful to go over lap times to see what my changes were doing. If we can't get them, no big deal, just curious.
Also, can anyone that runs 13.5 suggest a rough FDR to start with for our track? I'm looking to build a 13.5 car and I have no idea what gears to order. I usually run somewhere between 3.6-3.9 in 17.5 depending on the layout.
