I had a great time running at OCRC yesterday. This new layout is AWESOME and so much fun! Definitely some hero lines, but they are adrenaline inspiring and challenging!

Nice..Whats it like on driver stand far left? RC Live cuts off ..Is that a double or triple before it goes onto the straight?

a little side question...for a 22 2.0 with a 9.5 Gen 2...what gearing would you start with at this track?

thanks!

Double, then a chicane onto the straight, it's loads of fun.

9.5 motor should be a 23 or 24/78.

Or higher. I ran my Tekin 9.5 as high as 29/78 but different motors can require a little different gearing.

Hi all,
What is the 2wd front and rear tyre of choice at ocrc?
Are these tyres sold at the track? And is it possible to purchase them already mounted on some wheels?
So if I visit unfortunately I can only pack lightly. I will only have my buggy, radio, a couple of charged packs and a few basic tools.
Cheers.

I am from Springfield OR and I am coming down on vacation next week. I plan on racing on Sunday the 15th.

When do the doors open and when does racing start?

What are entry fees for 3 classes?

What time does racing end on a Sunday?

Last of all when was the last track change?

Thanks for the info and see you guys next week.

I think gold dirt webs or barcodes. They sell tires at the track, but I don't know what's in stock right now.

I think the shop can glue them up for you. If not, you can probably get some help from the locals.

12 noon. Racing starts at 3pm.

$25 1st class, then $20 each additional class.

Usually between 6-7pm for less than 10 heats.

The left half of the track was changed last Sunday.

If you are coming in from "offshore" they can accommodate you needs. They carry the tire of choice and will mount them for you. Hopefully you can stop by and enjoy!

Sunday doors open at noon racing at 3:00, ends usually around 6-7:00. Track has "evolved" from the stock nats over the last couple of weeks due to race scheduling. Latest evolution happened last Sunday night, the track is FAST and FUN!

Thank you for the info. Coming from Australia, I have never run on an indoor track. Will come by Monday evening and do a few laps. Will bring a set of wheels just incase, however they won't be the right type. Only have soft compound. I will purchase and use what tyres/wheels they have in stock. Really looking forward to it.
Cheers

The shop can take care of you. they normally have a few sets of premounts but if they don't have what you need Jackie will glue some up for you. There are a few different tires that work well at OCRC and they do there best to keep popular tires in stock so you should be good to go there.
