Wanted to find out from the stock buggy guys what would be a good setup/gearing for my B5M lite. Right now it is box stock besides shock oil 32.5f 30r and using the optional B inserts on the rear using the outer holes(haven't tested the B inserts yet). I am also running proline ribbed fronts with proline holeshots. My motor is a D4 1s short stack non certified and I am running a 29/72 gearing and 60* on the can. I have the tekin rsx if that matters. I also have the exotek slipper eliminator.

My issue is that I have a lot of on power push into the turns on the current track setup. Also feel that the motor is coming off hot at 150-160*. I am trying to get it to hook harder in the corners so I can use more power through them instead of barely touching the throttle or just coasting through them.

I am going to try and get out there thursday of friday as long as the track isn't tore up from the rain today to try and work on my setup more.

Was at the track today with my wife and met Mr. Notch. Great guy and really laid back. Talked to him about coming out to start racing my B5M lite and after today I think I am going to start coming out. I need to run beginner or intermediate depending on my times. Today I was getting my car faster and practiced a lot and tried different tires and finally settled on a set of rear Jconcepts 3Ds. They were hooking perfectly and gave more grip in certain areas where my holeshots would slide out.

So I think I am ready to start club racing out there and learn more from the seasoned guys!

Fellow friends, this is Chris Arellano. I have a lot of things for sale but since I already posted them in the SoCal RC Market thread, i'll post a link to that post here if anyone is interested in what I got. Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving!
