Adelaide Nitro Offroad Racing Club
Weather and hangover permitting, i'll be there
ill put my hand up for racing this weekend
WEATHER ON SUNDAY
Elders say showers easing 50% chance of 1 to 5mm rain. The kicker will be the 30kph wind which will be about 45kph at MV.
Ill be there, hopefully with a running vehicle or 2......
Working Bee 26th and 27th of March
This will be to do the minor track changes, build jumps and resurface the track.
We have other items on the list like painting the NEW Rostrum, but we need to know who can make it on what days to see if we can afford to bring in the extra machinery.
Please let me know if you are able to help out on either or both days so we can get numbers together.
Cheers Giz.

wind
It's not the rain but the wind chill factor up there on the rostrum. Spesh when ur eyelids are peeling back. Then there's the way the cars get blown around over the back side of the track. The rain i can tolerate.
hey guys does anyone know what the link is to watch the nationals live, if there is one?

Dudes,
Quick update from the Buggy Nats while we wait for the track to dry. The rain finally arrived overnight, so the 5th round has been delayed by a few hours today. Before it rained, the track's been grooved and dusty. Heaps of jumps, if you're into that kind of thing.
Overall, Kyle and Laughton seem to be in a class of their own. Griffin's been fast but inconsistent, and Jarred King and Darren Perry have been surprisingly quick with the LRP and Agama cars.
SDMCC guys have been doing ok:
I'm in 10th- just driving conservatively and trying to keep it on the wheels. Seems to be working.*
Breugem is in 12th- quick enough but hates the jumps. Should scrape into the semis.*
Foord is 27th- quick but sucking hard. Had a flameout in one heat. Should do good if he can get his shit together.*
Pagey is 39th, with a couple of rough runs. Should be comfortably in the quarters with a couple of clean runs today.*
Tom's in 59th after he lost a round with servo (?) problems. Looking pretty good though. Highest score in Tiny Wings so far (127,000).
Matt Samra is 90th. Haven't seen much, but he's got cool hats.*
Cars are just about to hit the mud now for the first heat. Rain apparently on it's way- we'll see what happens.*

Pissing down at the moment. Ran the first heat and it started raining halfway through. Dropping round 6 of qualifying and trying the 5th round at 1:30. Finals probably shortened and run tomorrow. Don't tell Marco, but they're putting sand on the track.
