Default running import radios

I'm wanting to upgrade to 2.4Ghz and I'm looking at getting the Eurgle unit from r2hobbies.

http://www.r2hobbies.com/proddetail.php?prod=rcps61208

I emailed them and asked them about the legal use of it in Australia and they said it didn't have a C-Tick approval. I didn't know what that means so I google it and found this page.

http://marcs.org.au/joomla/index.php...=109&Itemid=29

They are so cheap that it seems I can set up all my 8 cars with 3 transmitters and 8 receivers for about $270 plus postage. That's too good to be true isn't it?

So the question is; can I use it in the races at Knox?

I mainly want to use my slash for bashing with mates and their slashes but i also want to occasionaly get down to Know and fang aorund the track. Im looking to get the Novak Havoc 3S/Ballistic 8.5T combo - Anyone had any experience with these?

If i was to buy a 17.5T brushless motor to go with this speedie would i be able to come down and race? Going to order a set of Epic beadlocks and switch tyres at the same time.

hello mate....good to see you getting onto the racing wagon, its awesome fun John....as for the Proline Epic beadlocks, stay well away from them, they are shit....there are 10-15 sets at ryde that all shit themselves,i got sick of doing up all the beadlock screws after evry race,so i went to axial ax10 beadlocks, never come loose, better looking and are a little bit wider for a slight increase in track width,i used them for 3 months with no problems, there is even a few sets of Tamiya CR01 BLs in use here...as for the switches, awesome tyre, better than the bowties in the dry by a mile

we use the 13.5s in our PRO CORR class, bit more power than the titan,1000 times more reliable....

how is the CORR racing going down there fellas?still popular, getting more trucks?

Mate welcome to the corr/Torc scene. 17.5 brushless is fine for racing your slash with, we accept stock 27t, 17.5 and the factory 12t titan motors in our class. The switch tyres are good for our track too.

So who is running what this weekend? After a lot of nagging by fellow racers I will be running 2wd stock and I might have a guest appearance back in 4wd stock as well

Depends, if I don't have parts in time from frontline I am up for stock or mod truck, stock I reckon is better

Other wise the D4 will make it for 4WD stock... just trying to track down some lossi springs & a diff kit! hence waiting for parts (Yes I did something stupid)

you use that term 'guest' appearance too loosely
