Best I saw was Craig on Ride rex 30 i think. Would be keen to try some Sorex 28 or similar.

It takes at least one onroad meeting from what I've seen to get a typical carpet track rubbered in enough for rubber on F1. TC will work a bit more quickly.

Well I got to come out and sample on-road at RC Arena on Saturday and I was hugely impressed. The carpet needs a lot more traffic to get the groove going but even with it pretty loose from being so new I could get my mod car around nicely.

The setup the guys have is amazing, the track size is perfect, the drivers stand is huge, the pits are well equipped, and the shop has everything you need. We're really lucky to have a facility like this available to us, I hope everyone gets out and supports it

Too early to say, there's still huge amounts of fluff coming up from the carpet so once that beds in we'll be able to get a better read on it. I was on REX34LT and they were OK but softer would have been better. Thinking as Brett said some sorex 28s, LRP30s, or another purpose built carpet tyre will be the go
