Unfortunately it has closed down due to low numbers, no point updating a website for something that is closed. it'd be like servicing a car that you just sold.

Too be fair, especially for those who could be travelling long distances its more like you've already sold your car but haven't removed the add.

I hate to be bunt but the rationale behind not updating the website is in part related to this great venue unfortunately having low numbers.

It's nothing like that at all.

I was driving home a few weeks back and thought to collect some tyres. It was about 20min off my route. I checked the website on my phone, said it was open, dropped by and no one home. And now it seems like this other person has done the same. I hadn't raced there in many many months but was also going to turn up on a Friday night for some off-road and that would have been 2 hours down the drain.

And how many more have done the same as me?

Or......10 seconds to update their website.

It becomes extremely frustrating that people that haven't been to RCA in months all of a sudden show an interest in how the place should operate. Most people (or at least those that haven't been there for a while) would call to see if the product they looking to purchase was in stock or if the place was to be open (especially if travelling long distances). Those that did turn up week in week out or at least on a regular basis were aware the place was closing. It was not a secret. Anyway, it makes no difference now as the place is closed, people have moved on and the gossip continues.

No rc drifting but, we do race on road indoors, on Friday nights.

Sad this place closed down, me and my son only got into rc this year and this place was heaps of fun for us on a Friday night. We went there as much as my work schedule would allow us to. Really found it hard to believe there wasn't enough interest for indoor off-road in Sydney considering how well attended the 2 outdoor 1/10 tracks are on race days. Oh well, maybe one day someone will open up another track.
