The track has had some loving today and in my opinion has come up really well. Thanks to the guys that were able to lend a hand today and make this possible. The double double section has been leveled and the easiest way to describe it is a table top with a low hump on top in the 1st third. This should allow speed to be carried around the first corner and reduce the marshaling nightmare but still have a degree of technically to it. The chopped out section in the triples have been filled and carpet laid on top. Most of the ruts have been filled with a slurry and as much water as possible has been used.
Please avoid the urge to put your car down on it until Saturday to give it a chance to settle.
Looking forward to the next race meet so get your entries in.

That sweeper looks quite interesting guys.
I like the look of it so far, a little cambered, easier to judge at speed and while crossing your line of sight, more lead in to pick a line off the start, but still difficult to get done quickly and consistently.
Now bring on the weekend!!

The new jump looks pretty good. Should make a nice contrast to the ol' triple.
Thanks to the guys who did the work. I'm assuming it was the usual suspects?

A quick question in regards to http://arcr.org.au/calendar why is there no meeting scheduled on the 22nd of March? I first thought it was Easter the wife informed me today that Easter is April. Keen to get the 2WD back on the track now its working as expected.
