Brownie I will bring may laptop for you next meet

Yes I know about gearing but there comes a point when it affects drivability and acceleration elsewhere, also kills motors.

Hi guys, firstly just wanted to say congrats on the job you are doing on running the club and race day meetings. The track is great and a joy to drive on. I had my first race meet there last week and had a ball, even though i'm extremely rusty Any way i have a question regarding Stadium Truck 10.5, is this class a long term plan of the club as i really want to race this class and i am literally one click away from buying one new with all the gear. But i just want to be sure it has a future before i fork out the folding stuff on one. Cheers!

Novak ballistic 10.5 with havoc pro escin blinky. Novak seems a bit backwards as 'binky' mode is no lights and advanced timing has white light

As long as there is 5 trucks they will run except for the for the 2 rounds out of 10 were it is dropped but that is the same for every class!
I know myself i would love to get a team c truck after driving matts so this will be a future class for me probaly next season instead of 2wd buggy!
Probably doesnt answer your question though, but i do know there are lots of members with trucks they just have to bring them out!

My ST will be running 10.5T blinky when it (eventually ) hits the track.
HW 10.5T and HW V2.1 ESC.
SCT has the same set up.

EDIT - actually are you all running 10.5? Might have to do a scrutineering check at the next meet.
My SCT is always run exactly as AARCMCC / ORRCA spec.

It runs a Fantom IONv4 spec 10.5 with a 12.3mm rotor and 22deg timing (for MP), and controlled using an LRP Flow Worx esc set in blinky mode. (Gearing 23/84)

In fact, as a mod driver, I'm not sure on how to turn blinky off.. lol

....and at the nationals (my first ever brushless spec race) I had to ask Scotty G which way I turned the end bell to time the motor!

And I think it would be good to get a little scrutineering done. Min weights too? My SCT is set at 2130g. The standardised limit is 2100g

Haha, yeah it really kind of sucked!

But, at least even after all the rain we had a great track to run on, even if it did have carpet that bites! ...way better than a day not racing!!!!
