It was a great night racing with only 1 rain interruption for the last final. The new MI4's where the show all night and all drivers showed fast times.

As the track layout changed a little race records have not been updated. These will be updated in the next season records.

See you all next fortnight (July 4th).

I think mid-week minis/bikes are running Thursday night this week due to state of origin.

Also Don't forget to get your entries in for Round 3 of the Interclub at Brendale.

Robert.
Yeah the ''Mipoor's'' where on show on what a waste of material on making these kits.

Yeah i think EVERYONE'S lap times where up from the other weeks, but we all need to remember that they have changed the track a little so that is where we are ALL getting the extra time in our laps from. IE i took 6sec of my own track record. There was no MI4 to be seen for at least half a lap so im not too sure why people belive that they where 'Hot on my heals' as per previous comments on other websites. I would also like to let everyone know that the website in question has been known to tell white lies like drivers running newer kits when running older kits and beating the new kits, just to endorse there new range of products. Ithink its about time people start looking at lap times before making comments or beliving other peoples information.

I would like to let poeple know this is not clinton having a winge it is Tamara as i am sick of reading the comments when i know the facts.

ps.By no mean do i mean any disrespect to the drivers of theses kits.

Default Hot On My Heels

Hi Tamara,

I was watching the stock races last night before i wet home, and the MI4's and others never got a look in on Clinton, once he was gone they never looked like catching him.

As far as lap times, well of course the lap times would have been quicker, the track has been modified the last couple of meets. I am sure Clinton's times were even faster then last time also.

In saying that, they look good, maybe with some work they might get up there, but it will take a pretty good driver to beat Clinton.

Regards

B1

Hi Tamara & Clinton

Good on you for saying that about the MI4 .

It's pretty funny that the top 3 qualifiers in stock where 2 tamiya's & a Associated & it took a mistake from me ( due partly to the rain / Mist on the track ) to hand bob 3rd place in the final .

In 540 i would Hope that a $700 + MI 4 could beat a Tamiya Bathtub chassis

Also why is the track getting changed so much . ( leave it alone )

I say go Tamiya & Clinton keep up the good work .

Thanks

Thank Guys!!!

Just glade that my opinion was heard. I think credit is due when credit is due and there is in no way any disrespect to any driver or cars was ment. I think people need to remember there are other cars then the Schumacher's on the track. I think everyone did a great job on Saturday night. Well done to Chris on a great race in 540 with his new MI4. It just shits me off to see incorrect comments made each week. And for the track there was a good change (the corner near the car park) as i belive it made it flowing for the drivers to get around. The other section opposite the main stright that was taken out made the track a little different. Which i think should have been left as it made the track a little more technical.

No one will catch me in my new tamiya tt-01

Its good clinton mentioned this, I agree to most of it.
Its more the driver and setup etc than any car.
No one is near clinton in stock and anyone that thinks they are is dreaming.
If enough people all have the one car they rally together its just human nature

I was wondering if any dates had been thought for the QLD titles? Just would like to know so I can arrange for it.

Its possible that you may be in the top 3. it all depends upon what bribes
i can get before it is announced.

You will have to talk to ORRCA.

We have been striped of the rights to hold the 2009 Electric Qld's.

thats a shame would have been good for meakin as weve just invested a lot of money in our track. However i think every race meet we have at our club is like having a title event just look at the grid of drivers there is know better than clinton and keith in stock and hot shot chris in 540 anthony lenard in mod also tim and martin just to mention a few

A major trophy meet on 3rd and 4th October sounds like it would be the go anyway regardless of what ORRCA want

What the?

To think it is all because of one person who wants to attend the ORRCA Qld On-road electric titles and the NSW IC titles.
How pathetic.

Surely the date that was set several months ago should stand.
