Interesting starting format in the Merlin Enduro Race at the GTBRCF track in Toulouse, France. Could this be the way eliminate first corner carnage? Watch clip. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=QOrsBiQwIKk

Hi all, just wondering what brushless motor we can run for the super stock class (19t brushed) is it 10.5t or 13.5t?

Anything that's not stock (17.5 brushless or 27t brushed) or 540 usually goes in with mod.

If there's enough people wanting to run 19t they can make a class but usually they all go together in mod

Most people run the 13.5's with the sintered

Hi Speed Freak,

Ashley-San is right, Super Stock is either 19T Brushed or 13.5 with a Sintered Rotor, (any brand motor you like).

We have tried on numerous occasions to get a 19T or Super Stock class up & running but it's just not very popular.

We will definately be running a Mod class this Suturday so you will be able to race with whatever you choose to bring.

Also, weather permitting, I'm planning to spray the track with Coke or Pepsi (whatever is on "special") to see if we can improve traction for the Gas Tourer Titles on the 22nd.

This is an experiment aimed at improving grip for Foam Tyres so if you have some foams in your kit then fit them up & let me know if it has worked.

Maybe we can get sponsorship from the Soft drink manufacturers?

See you tonight if the weather is kind, the prediction is for an afternoon Storm, ( I hate those Melbourne players! )

Regards
Martin

Apparently grape soft drink (the cheaper the better) is the go... the cheaper stuff has more sugar apparently.

Spraying any traction aid on the track will likely have some pretty major effects on your Mini class - they're very sensitive to grip levels and toppling over.

Not saying you should or shouldn't spray, but something to consider.

Scott.

Thumbs up

If we spray something I hope Keith M will be there. He is a great mini marshal.

Can we make sure the mini race is on after the MOD race.

Can we hand in our mini nomination for the event this weekend??

See you all on the weekend.

Grape is an American Thing i do'nt think we would get it here.

The Mini's will have to harden up and go lower or just use kit Tyres

Hi Martin, thanks for letting me know. I have the 19t brushed currently (used it one race night at meakin) but im trying to sell all my brushed gear at the moment. I was just making sure it was a 13.5t brushless that was the equivalent if i bought one to race. Ill be running mod on saturday for sure it was great last time. Dont have any foam tyres but will it help rubber tyres? Are foams or rubbers better any way?

Thanks, Rhys.
