Contact, no changes have happened since mid year, on road will be updated soon and sent to the affiliated clubs before the 2006 season starts.
Unfortunately, the server that the AARCMCC web site was on has thrown a rod and the person who set it up is working on recovering and rebuilding the site.

Here is a smart question for the AARCMACC backward committee.
I have just noticed your rules and I really think you guys need a reality check you are shoving rules down peoples throats when if you only sat back and realised what is modified. In your rules you can’t do this and you can’t do that you are not allowed to do this and you are not allowed to do that. If you have half a brain between you guys Modified means MODIFIED. That’s why we go from stock to modify for the power. So would you please rename the Modified class to the AARCMACC girl’s class? It seems like you guys have to control what motors people can and cannot buy. So at the end of the day Modified means you can modify in any shape or form.
The Nun knows.

I don't remember seeing a motor list for modified in the rules any where.
Me thinks the Nun really doesn't know

Fuel tank capacity. The reason no loose inserts are allowed is that in the event of someone running an oversized fuel tank, it does not give that competitor the ability to secretly slip an insert into the fuel tank prior to end of Race Scruteneering. The simplest and easiest way to decrease the capacity of a fuel tank, is to heat the tank and depress the sides until the capacity is legal. However there has been the odd time where due to the discretion of the race director and Scrutaneer, an insert may be placed in the fuel tank, however it is up to the competotor to make sure that the Tank size is according to the rules.
When racing in a sanctioned event, the competitor should be awware of the rules, and should make sure that his car confirms with these rules prior to the first scrutaneering. When a competitor fails scrutaneering, he does so because he has not complied with the rules.
I have never been pinged at scrutaneering, simply because I make sure that my car complies, read the rules comply with them, thats how easy it is.

Who would actually press a fuel tank inwards and let alone heat it?

If you find that amusing then I can run a different armuture in a different can eg a Orion armature in a Reedy can with a V2 end bell in Mod
There are reasons behind the no hybrid rules, and most countries follow the same rules.
The mix you are talking about would make very little difference to performance, don't you think that Orion and Reedy would have already tried it.
If you and the club you belong to feel so strongly about the rule on Hybrid motors, why don't they put in a proposal for rule change and then the clubs can vote on it.
As well you can start a discussion on the matter in a new thread.
