Sorry Z-Mann but an electric car holds the R/C speed record and when you see my monster go you'll know why. The current plans are between 14 and 16 cells, twin motor drag car no speed control, simply a micro switch, it's either going or it's not. My only current problem is figuring out a way of slowing the car down I'm thinking about a servo operated drag brake, possibly draging a rubber sheet of some kind????

Default Call to arms

If Pyrosian's project is going ahead, im calling all my nitro brothers to arms!
I will donate chassis, we need an RB C5 Rody or something similar, send it away for some very aggressive sleeve and crankshaft work, bolt a centax onto it, tighten the adjustment nut real tight so it engages at around 25,000RPM, find the largest pinions, smallest spurs, and meet at the netball courts!!

The only thing im worried about is finding all the pieces when the clutch engages!!!

p.s. The nitro guys should not under estimate the speed of an EP car like pyrosian has in mind!!

Rody about 3 months ago i was seriously considering a twin motor tg10 with 2 cen .46 rear exhaust motors (5.0hp) and have a laugh... but then i found out cen suck and it would have been too much work...

Rody i've had an idea if you figure out what speed the RB does at 25,000 rpm get and electric motor in that car to take it to take speed and then let to RB rip in it would be a vain attempt to keep it together

If anyone has $10,000 lying around why dont we make a replica of the donut king van with a jet engine sticking out the back...

xra-aj, your pit girl does a good job i must admit i just need someone to pit for me i tried to bring along one of my mates but dad reminded me that theres no room, guess i'll have to pack him in with my gear....

al, get brad up at vaggs to take his dragster in its all custom he setting it up to last about 10 seconds lol i'd like to see an electric out run it

brads 1/8th dragstar is going to be awesome, ill be recording its maiden run at a well kept secret location.trouble is must find a perfect 100metre flat,i mean flat stretch of smooth bitumen, yes i think its built 4 1 run only,if only that parachute would open on time.

Dennis it is made to run multiple runs that is why he made the front so it will break on collision but the motor will be saved and he doesnt need a parachute it has brakes

Default NO RAIN!

As much as our farmers need rain, i hope it does not spoil the end of our first points score this sunday! I've been hanging for this round and im ready for a big showing!

If it does rain, i might have to head out to windsor for my fix or else i'll go insane!

p.s. anyone going to the winterchamps on Saturday? I cant wait to see Hara and Surikarn going at in in Mod, and Camilleri and Hara going at it in Nitro!!
