Interesting day today..

My motor finally let go.. although more of a wimper, than the earth shattering kaboom i was expecting. there where signs, like the stalling when i brushed one of the boards. the bush on the end of the conrod distorted. Threw the old abused rod from my keyring into it and managed to fire her up, although i think thats her last gasp.

I will have to make time next weekend to break in a new motor.

Maybe it's a bug in the new fangled Chrome browser, or the flux capacitor needs more work - if I'm not mistaken, the latest Tuesday results are listed as "4th October"...

I'm more distressed that I couldn't stay for more fun in the novice class and will miss the next Tuesday night fun too. Between now and Christmas is littered with school (kids) and work functions, but will press for every opportunity.

Damn mod is fast and sounds so awesome lol and no smoke shows from Ari either.

Thanks to AJ for his help all day.....i think i finally sobered up

is anyone going down there tuesday nite????

Ok Craig... what happened?

Just checked out results from today and you still can't pull 20 laps? C'mon you have it in you. I looked at that round from last tue and you cost me about 2.5 seconds. That would give me around 20laps with 5min 13.5sec. I loved looking at my top 5 and top 10. All within 0.1sec of my best lap... sweet....

Looks close in the pointscore between you and Cristian.

Who is goin down on sunday?

Yeah I didn't have a lot of time to work on my 416 between heats so couldn't get rid of the understeer I was suffering from. Had a pretty forgettable day overall, broke a corner off the first noisy car then stripped both gears on the other with a 3 lap lead in the final.

Think I'll be heading down, I need to get my setup sorted on these TOPs

BK did you change your set up for the superstock final or was the track just slower then?

From what I saw on the results the track must have been slower as best laps in finals were slower than heats.

I gave up racing two classes like that a long time ago. If you want to run a 2nd class try mini or F1 as those cars need little to no work between runs.

Well yeah, I think my final set up was pretty good but I couldnt take the sweeper flat all day without getting really close to the boards on either side so I think the tyres need a bit of a different set up compared to sorex

Those GT cars looked awesome getting around yesterday! I might get the parts for the F103R to mount a GT body like BK

Brad and Paul's cars look fantastic and the speed and handling of them is unbelievable. I think the BMI & Corally cars would flog an F103.

Yes the GT10 were awesome, i messed up in the final, tried goop and it didnt respond well.

I think 17.5 /lipo is a perfect speed for most people, should generate some good racing, BK and i had a few good door to door battles. Was the track less grippy than normal? there seemed to be a ton of dirt on the car after a run, and it showed up in the handling, I had much more grip at windsor the other night.
