where on earth was everyone on Sunday.. ?
The track was great! Bit wet in the morning but an excellent job by the guys (ray mostly) for drying it up!
You on road guys are very very soft.. A wet track???YOu guys dont know what a wet track is! try racing in Europe....
Or maybe its just SMA.
A sniff of moisture and all of you guys shrivel up and stay inside - does that reflect your real life attitudes too?

For me i think the track could have been run on by the time we all setup. All it needed was a few cars to roll around on it and a dry line would have emerged.
It was a shame not to run, these conditions pop up from time to time and most people learn a lot from running in them which can be put to good use later on.

Kyle

Having run previously in those conditions at SMA, I can attest that it's not worth it at the end of the day - it makes a complete mess of your car. It's not just a minor rebuild, but (to do it properly) a total ground-up strip, clean, lube and reassemble. It is fun, though!
I wasn't gonna run my brand spankin' new, never-turned-a-wheel Moorespeed for the first time in the wet, just for a practice session.

Pretty busy these days working long hours, doing Uni part time and building a new house so racing these days is more of a social event time permitting.
Corr's is pretty busy as well so we decided to play around with 12th scale although he has recently started running Mod touring cars. Considering we brought everything about 6 months ago we have only raced once!!
Good to see 1/8th scale's back on the map, would like to run again but i can't see that happening at the moment.
What about yourself?
