If I attend tomorrow night, since its my first official race meet would I be running in novice class?

had fun yesterday but would like a chance to do a few runs with a low car count to give me a chance to work on my lines (and not cut anyone elses)

if that is where you want to run, you can. Maybe have a chat to one of the people in race control when you register.

Will see how i go tonight doing some modifications/repairs.

I dont have the required weight for VTA at the moment anyway so would rather stick to the noobie class until i get my chops.

If anyone lost/left behind a Hudy 52mm spring steel drive shaft - its a lot thinner than the ones in my T3 2011, it was found on the track yesterday, i will bring it tomorrow, so just come see me.
Cheers

Hi All,

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to Matt and any others involved in setting up a great day on Sunday.

I hadnt been on the track for far to long, so some timed practice was very helpful.

The timing system is great, I find it really helpful. Splitting up into classes is useful as when there are many cars on the track it can be hard to keep track of your time as you pass over the loop.

The practice sessions, like the old alternate tuesdays for practice seem to be great bang for buck, lots of laps over an evening or afternoon.

I miss the tuesday practice nights...

Anyway, just one persons opinion.

Many thanks again for the great day!

Is anyone able to confirm if tonight is round 12 or 13 of pointscore?

I calculated it was the 13th and final round but last week was mentioned as being round 11 during the drivers meeting.

Cheers

Sorry very true, I mixed up the rounds because we had one rained out.

Tonight is round 13, and the last round of our summer pointscore.

There are some very close results, and it will go down to the wire in a few of the classes.

See you all track side tonight

Whatever makes you feel comfortable twiz... Best way to get confidence is like the Nike add "Just Do It"... VTA is the Best class to start in anyways as were not that precious about ourselves or the cars copping a hit now and then...

By the way I wont be making it tonight have to get some paperwork sorted and tonight is the only time I have but will be there with the other lot this coming Sunday I know Noel has to do some stuff and Pete wont be down but there should be about another six VTA guys there.. couple of new guys too...

Thanks for last night. Had a good time getting confidence back in driving a car, fair way to go though. A few more meets in novice, and a change of body, and I should be right
