Im sure falcon sekido will be sending the XR10 Pro to its dealers sometime this week.

The 35amp esc yes it has been discontinued but the 13T motor is still being manufactured.
Im 100% sure there are a few 100 combos still floating around.

No ceramic bearing upgrade from hobbywing but im sure you can get ceramic bearings to fit.

I've owned 2 hw v2.1 and on 6 degree dead band the esc causes the car to stop suddenly when on brakes and then on throttle. This happens on any firmware. 9 degree dead band no issues. Is this a known issue with the v2.1

If you calibrate radio to esc once again it will go back to normal.

Make sure you calibrate the esc with the dead band at 6 degrees. Don't calibrate at 9 degrees and the change the dead band setting.

The 35A/13T combo is the spec system for mini class in Australia. It sounds like this will need to change soon as a result. What system would you recommend as a replacement? Ideally one that has equivalent performance, has a similar cost, and won't be discontinued any time soon.

Can someone tell me why there is no "punch" adjustment on the new XR10 Pro esc? Unless I overlooked it I didn't see it in the instructions.

Default Hobbywing Xerun V3.1 120amp

I have a couple of Xerun 120a V3.1.

I have found this on the internet.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hobbywing...4AAOSwgApXBdog

The beginning of the Spec notes state

XERUN - V3.1 - Competition ESC 120A

Due to the way this ESC is manufactured, the sensor lead cannot be removed from the ESC and is approx 100mm long. For long reach applications a sensor lead extender must be used.

Repair is not available on this unit as it is completely sealed inside.

Are Hobbywing manufacturing these ESCs with a permanently wired Sensor lead. As I have found the sensor lead often fails and needs replacing.

I have a used ESC, I bought with a car with a fixed sensor lead that I cannot use as the sensor lead has failed.

Is this a genuine Hobbywing Xerun V3.1 120a. Ill have to be careful when ordering a new HW esc not to get this model if it is.

Cheers

I've got a 3.1 and it looks different to that one. For starters, my one has a detachable sensor wire. It also has the fan plug in the case, not as an external lead. The power button is on the case too, not on a separate lead. If you look at both pictures on the eBay listing you will see what I'm talking about - my one looks like the picture on the box.

Mine are the same as you describe.

The one in the photo on the box.

Like this....

So is this other type made by Hobbywing?

Thought the representative would know the answer!
