Host it at EC, home of all the best events ( just pick a day not when the soccer is not on... )

thats i great idea, but i believe trev likes picking venues that are under cover due to the amount of interstate drivers...so there is no issue with weather...

Not as many as the Nationals and other big meets. And also it would make sence as TJ is trying to get it as close to what Japan is. With grip levels closer to what is in Japan and could also lay the exact track out it would be a great option. ESP the grip, this would play a huge factor in setup for the worlds.

How good would the F1's look flying around with tire squeal.

Coxy.

I'm happy to race wherever on whatever, I can wait to see a grid of 415's slug it out, not sure on the 23T but it's all good.

Keep us posted.

Cheers

Hey guys

glad to hear the TCS NATS are back in sydney. Will the rules be like last years and if so when can i find them?? Also if we run 23T stock motors what one would be better the RR or the S. they both are rebuildable but the RR has 500 more rpm than the S. However the S out torques it but 5 grams and is a 6% better effiect motor. Or if we arent running them what motors are we running?? Thanks for the help. keep the updates coming Trev

The rules will be similar to last year the major change is that the motors for GT1 will be the Tamiya 23t's.The rules will be up by the end of May.

hey hey.

this is my first post on this forum. i'm new to the tamiya thing and i've just stumbled across it while trying to find some info on this year's tcs.

i've noticed a few comments on the elegibility of the ssg chassis- what is the go with them? i've just scored myself a ta04-trf 'special chassis kit'- is this what they're referring to?

what's the problem with them anyway, i thought all tamiya cars were supposed to be overpriced and sexy looking.

also, are there any other restrictions on the gt1 class besides motors? i'm guessing batteries and tyres etc are open.

cheers, jarrod.

Hi Jarrod, the motors and tyres have to be Tamiya in GT1 but the batteries are open to AARCMC rules. They is no restriction on Tamiya SSG chassis in GT1.

Rules will be out in a couple of weeks. Have had to make some changes to the rules and some add rules to work in with the ACA.
Sorry for the delay.
