Tcs 2004

Good new to all driver Tamiya will be running the TCS this year. All I know at this stage is that it will be run in Sydney. Have a meeting this week with Tamiya to start organising this great event. Will get back to you as soon as I know more.

Come on Trev you can't leave it like that... lololol

Hype it up... any idea on this years class/rules.. Are we going to follow Americas led with the classes or maybe the worlds event it self.

Well i hope i can run my TRF415,

Venue? CasTle Hill, Northside or EC?

lets have TCS at a new venue... maybe at the Toy Raiders car park lol, close to the spare parts supply. :)

BK it's got to be under cover... maybe a hotel ballroom like in the US...that would be fun...

black-knight 03-15-2004 03:42 PM

why does it have to be under cover? If it rains Tamiya sell rubber balloons as an option to protect electronics lol

The meeting is Thursday morning Iwill know more after that, but I can't see anything different from last years rules we will have to wait. But I am running single lap qualifing this year. Some people may or may not like it but it just brings it more in line with the drivers that are going to the TCS worlds. It become more apparent through the rest of the world that is the way we should go. From last year all drivers that seemed to be the one major hurdle to get over.

will past winners be eligable?

if so why not send Jake to Japan now, he's just too good. Lucky his brother is really slow lol

Surely we have enough winners now to take part in an invitational class, similar to the mini last year.

I know of a lot of people who do not enter because of this rule.

As far as I know Jake is not running this year. So he said last year but it is up to him weather he races this year or not.

We all know what rule should be in to make it more like the O/S racing and it isn't one lap wonders.

Coxy.

Yes coxy, the motors are the biggest hurdle, sports tuned would be the best bet, especially if it is held at castle hill, just not suitable for mod racing anymore.
