Paul i think meca would be good tp run at Helles and the entries would be the same. However i asked walter why not and he said that they charge to much and the he had to take money out of his own pocket hence he wont run mecas there.

On another note i am very dissapointed to see Walter come and just collect the money yesterday and then leave and comeback just to hand out the trophies. That is extremely poor and selfish it is plain simple Walter has nothing on his mind othere than the MONEY he does not care at all about the sport he just wants money it is an extremely poor attitude if you ask me. I think Steve would be able to run an event named Steves club race and still pull just as many entries its not the name people come down for its the Racing. With the way Meca is going it will not last much longer as walter has become more concerned about MONEY rather than us the RACERS. Without us there would be no money to be made. Lood at a normal club day for ec the entrant level is something like 15 less. Untill walter becomes more interested in the racing rather than the money i dont think steve should run another Meca.

Unfortunately EC has already committed to 2 rounds of the series, and pressured to hold all 3 but refused. Meca does not benefit the EC track in terms of revenue or exposure.

There will be race meetings run by the club exclusively, and they will contain a lot more benefits to the entrants than those generated by "Other promoters". I look forward to when these meetings will be anounced, and will bring with it a new level in professionally run meetings
