I heard a rumor about some Pro-Line/Associated factory drivers cutting some practice laps at the track today.

This coming Sunday the BBQ will be run by Dave and Ani, with breakfast being served in the morning as well as lunch. Dave has a great menu lined up for this Club Series buggy round.

Ryde Club members please support Dave and Ani if they need any help and be appreciative of their efforts. Thanks.

I wonder if we could set up a course like this at Ryde but using the micro racers (about 100mm across):

BTW, we will need a few volunteers on Sunday to help out with scrutineering and race refereeing. You don't have to do it all the time, just during that time where you are normally sitting back in your chair with nothing else to do, the more people who come up to help the quicker and easier it is.

Why you don't let plane guys do product development for cars: I am currently being hammered in the office that my new 1/8 Truggy I am working on needs a driver. What's the consensus, would you guys buy a truggy/buggy/truck with a driver?

I would if it's for a monster truck, rock crawler, or novelty vehicle.
The driver detail is quite good.
Not for a racing type of vehicle though.

It will be a long day and my guess is not a chance we will finish that early.
