Well if Trinity managed to get their hands on a brushless company, i'm sure that IFMAR would have made a change by now.

I think u would def want the 75, my concerns with the Shultze would be thermal overload, even the Hacker Competition can go thermal when over geared by just one or two pinions.

The Lastest Schulze controllers are called U-force series. They are designed to operate 2 and 3 phase......hence brushed and brushless.

maybe someone could make a larger heatsink for the hacker speed controls, with taller fins and fins on the side to keep the speed control cooler. Anyone have easy access to a CNC mill.

the more i think about it its the ad hoc way in which motors gain approval that is more of the worry... are the guidelines that a motor has to be run by 1% of drivers?
NO, NO, NO. I will clarify for you.

Because of the effort of the intial 1% it grew to 10% or more. Also (and more importantly) it gave fact to everyone else so it changed a lot of people's opinion on whether BL could run with brushed motors. It was not a vote by 1% of the AARCMCC clubs that allowed BL in.

What we need to do is test the process of adding a motor to the current approval list... How can we add the Kontronic/Twister 55 to the "List"?.
Have you got one to try BK?
Make a submission through your AARCMCC club.

The speedy was not worthy, overheated and other issues. Motor seemed to be similar in feel to the 8t hacker motor.

The newer schulze speedie is the U-Force 75, so far it feels pretty good, is nice an compact and so far no heat issues. I had to play with the throttle expo as the throttle travel seemed to be very early in the trigger throw, expo smoothed this out, brakes are nice and smooth, and is set up by use of DIL switches, only down side so far is there is no switch, operation consists of plugging it in.

There are other schulze models that have better specs on the chart but i have not tried them, and they are still the airplane style of a shrink wrapped unit with wires exiting both ends.
