Aluminium posts will cut it down a bit, but in the end it's a not a critical point anyway.
Flex, slop, they're all normal in a Mini anyway.

A package arrived at my house today containing these:

To try and also as I prefer the LWB mini over the MWB and SWB car.

Might be on to something there Calvin, first impressions of this body were not great me, but on closer inspection it looks OK. Let us know how they go.

Jim,
They are not all for me. It is easier to share costs now days, however I do like the shape of the new shell. I will have to see if this shell works similar to the new VW Sirrocco which has been a huge success on the FWD cars.
Other than these shells I have a JCW at the painters and should be finished this week, provided the painter does not get side tracked with other stuff. This will not be painted in my usual paint scheme but on a realistic paint scheme as used on the road version car. I will post a couple of pictures after I have mounted the shell on the car and before I scratch it up.
Later,
Calvin.

Hey! It's "The Painter." Sounds like a villain in an artsy European version of Batman. (He should kill "The Mime" first.)
I just can't buy Tamiya shells anymore. They're generally pretty good, but I burn through shells fairly fast. If I've got a choice between spending $18 on an HPI or a Colt, or popping $40+ for Tamiya, I'm going cheap. This also keeps my paint jobs cheap and cheesy. Just need to settle on a single colour. Maybe I'll go back to bubblegum pink.
